Some of the common mistakes that people make the most when hanging art or living with art is they hang it too high. I think people are feeling that they have to put it away from something, which is so funny and cute at the same time. The rule of thumb is just to place art at the eye level. The bigger the art, the lower it has to go. And so, for example, if we use a sofa for a piece of reference, the distance from the artwork to the sofa should not be more than 4 inches at most. It will vary, obviously, from a case to the other. You know, designers assess the space, but as a rule of thumb, it is usually a problem of hanging too high. Another thing that I have seen a lot is people not really knowing that things can fade with time. And placing art close to windows can really destroy any piece with the passage of time. Another common mistake is people being afraid of bold and vibrant art and colors. You know, we are talking about people who can be very young, and very willing to take risks, when it comes to art they really take none. Another common mistake is people trying to separate depth takes, or things like that, which I think is like terrible. I mean, artists spend time devising and creating things that come in two, or sometimes it is a trip pic, and three, and then I find that there is one hanging in the kitchen, one in the bathroom and one in the closet, which is like crazy. Do not do that. You know, there are a lot of mistakes that have to do with proper display and conservation of the pieces that I was just referring a couple seconds before. I think people just have to be aware of the display, which is very important, and the most common mistakes are the ones I just talked about. But please pay attention to the height. That is, I think, major.
